Sup...? Long time... brah.
So I landed this per diem thing as a starting point in the "hunt for employment at 61 years old"... so excited.
But as it turns out... most of the job hunting I've done all required a USCIS Form I-9... 'nuff said.
Anyway, I gutted my online dev presence... stripped it all down to some simple one pagers, hand coded. Using VSCodium at the moment, though, most days it's vim and scp to get the work done. I'm sooooo done with US big tech... they are embarrassing, it is funny watching them pound my virtual card for subscription money. Jetbrains has been by far the most relentless... but finally quelled to the defeat.
Almost went full on late 90's website style... but I really dig the simplicity of Pico so I am sticking with it.
I still use AI... but I only actually use it for search, and the occasional slop image... for giggles. But only Lumo... sorta comes with the privacy plan... so's I don't ever need to touch a search engine... at all.
